Aechmea bromeliad plants have been used in the interior plantscape for many years. There a two types used in the interior landscape industry, the Aechmea Fasciata and the Aechmea Primera. Both of these bromeliad plants have similar foliage and a beautiful, pink flower. The Aechmea Fasciata has small spines on the leaf edges and the Primera does not.
